Alastair Collins
Davis Langdon & Seah
 Alastair
Collins is Chief Executive of Davis Langdon & Seah International's
Global Board and Managing Partner of its International Group which
operates throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Australia
and the USA. Irish by birth, he has been based in London since 1990,
having built his early career in South Africa in the 70s and 80s.
Alastair sits on the firm's Managing Partner and International Boards,
with a particular remit for development of sustainable business growth
strategies and initiatives. He is past Chairman of the British Council
for Offices Tall Buildings Working Party, the output publications of
which include:
- 'Giving Occupiers a Voice' - a survey of the opinions of owners and occupiers of tall buildings
- 'Guidance on Planning Applications for Tall Buildings'
- 'Commercial Realities of Owning a Tall Building' and
- 'Tall Buildings: A Strategic Design Guide'.
Currently he is the Council on Tall Buildings and the Urban Habitat's
Country Leader for the UK; he has been a regular speaker at tall
buildings conferences and a facilitator of international workshops on
development and regeneration of city skyscapes.
