 The Emirates Green Building Council
(EmiratesGBC) is a not-for-profit organisation. The EmiratesGBC was
formed in July 2006 with the goal of advancing green building
principles for protecting the environment and ensuring sustainability
in the United Arab Emirates.
The formation of EmiratesGBC is considered a milestone and a break
through towards creating and maintaining sustainable Built-environment
and protecting the ecosystem in the UAE .
